Ann R. Hoskins, District IV Director

As the District IV Director,  I plan to encourage more participation in the local and state level student nursing associations.  We all get so excited and so focused on what we do daily and weekly in nursing school and miss out on the opportunities that professional nursing associations provide, like seminars, professional contacts and networking, and the support you get from other people in your field who understand the challenges that you face each day.

I am a second-level nursing student at Johnston Community College. When I graduate in May, I hope to work in an Oncology or Cardiac Care unit.  I am considering continuing my education later on so that I can become an instructor in a nursing program.
