District IV
Jonathan Shaw, District IV Director
I’m a senior working towards my BSN at East Carolina University College of Nursing, home of the Pirates. I am originally from Salisbury, NC. I currently serve on ECU’s Student Leadership Council for the College of Nursing and I’m also fortunate enough to serve as President of the Multicultural Student Nurse Association at the college. Outside of school, my hobbies include traveling, going to the movies, meeting new people, and spending time with my family and friends. My goals as District IV Director include: Promoting unity and fellowship of all student nurses and encouraging not only membership, but active participation within NCANS. My future career goals include advancing my education as an MSN student and later obtaining my PhD. I currently have an interest in a variety of areas which include Geriatrics, Postpartum, and Oncology. My life-time goal is to one day own and operate a health clinic as a Practitioner with a concentration in Adult and Family Health. I’m looking forward to serving as NCANS District IV Director and collaborating with my fellow board members to make this a successful year.
