Amy Manchester, District V Director

My name is Amy Manchester, and I am excited to be one of the newest members of the NCANS Board. I am a second year student in the ADN Program at Fayetteville Tech Community College, where I serve as Chapter President, and will graduate in May of 2011. As District V Director, I hope to identify issues that impede membership and participation in my district’s schools and help find ways to resolve these problems. I hope to find ways to get students and faculty more involved in local chapters as well as NCANS, and keep lines of communication open so that the entire district will be well served and informed. My personal goal is to start my career in Neonatal Intensive Care nursing and work toward an MSN. While not busy with NCANS and Chapter duties, I enjoy spending time with my family and supporting my local military community.
