Greetings! NCANS Students, Faculty and Staff,

I am so excited to be serving the students of North Carolina as this year’s NCANS President.  This year we are starting off early and hitting the ground running with so many fabulous ideas for this years annual convention and Council of Student Leaders (COSL)  Please remember to join us on our Facebook Page to keep up with all our monthly updates.  NCANS monthly meetings are open to all who wish to come.  Please call ahead to find out what time to be at the NCNA Headquarters.  Meetings dates are subject to change due to work schedules or NCNA headquarters availability.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact me through NCANSPresident@gmail.com or 252-467-7265.  I can’t wait to hear from all of you.

Board of Director Vacancies: One of the most important things missed by not having a convention this past October is electing a new board. Many of the current board members are staying on to help until these positions are filled. All positions on the board of directors minus President, District 2 Director and the Executive Consultant Positions are Vacant.  WE NEED YOU!   We are taking applications via email. Help Support NCANS! As many of you know NCANS has a very limited amount of revenue ever year:  mostly from NCANS dues distributed to us by NSNA and Convention attendance.  This past year even NCANS felt the sting of our slowly rebuilding economy when our yearly convention was cancelled due to low attendance and inability to meet our hotel room block.  In the mean time while NCANS reaches out to the community we are asking for donations via NCANS T-Shirt sells.  The T-shirt design and pricing information can be located by clicking here.
